I am a freelance dance artist working around the UK as a dancer, maker, performer and researcher. I am most invested in highly collaborative processes, improvisational practices and site-specific work. Studio-based research is an important part of my practice; I am curious about humans and the body, and amongst other areas of interest enjoy exploring physicality, efficiency and stillness. With a focus on wellbeing, my work often explores togetherness, touch and connections with our environments through sensory experiences.

Originally from West Berkshire, Becky trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she also completed her MA in Dance Performance as part of Transitions Dance Company, funded by Mercers Arts Award.

Since graduating she has worked as a freelance performer on a variety of projects, with practitioners and companies including: Marina Collard, Dora Frankel, Ben McEwen, Janine Harrington, Hannah Cameron, Bicycle Ballet and Ella&co.

Becky is currently on the Young Professional Programme at Swindon Dance 2020-22, and a member of movement collective Salvage. As well as making and performing she has experience of facilitating workshops.
